LIMITATIONS OF THE BOHR MODEL: A DEEPER LOOK

While groundbreaking for its time, the Bohr model had several shortcomings that ultimately led to its replacement. One primary limitation was its failure to accurately predict the spectra of multi-electron atoms. The model also struggled to explain phenomena like quantumtunneling.
